GENERAL INFO
Ritmo in 4/4 di origine africana. Viene usato a Cuba dalle orchestre popolari comparsas utilizzate nelle sfilate carnevalesche.
Congas, snare, bombos, sartenes, trombe, campane e altri strumenti a percussione vengono utilizzate in queste ritmiche.
I due stili principali sono:
Conga Habanera (dall'Avana de Cuba)
Conga Santiaguera (da Santiago de Cuba).
